Day 54

Today was an interesting day.  I did a lot of different stuff at work.  I started by riding with Doug to Goodwill to donate a table that was in the way at the pantry.  Then we went over to Pikes Peak, where we had one last person to move.  This was thankfully a pretty easy move.  A lot of his stuff was packed, and there were not too many big pieces.  He had a detailed plan made, which made it very easy to know what to pack first and what to unpack first.  The apartment smelled like smoke, and it was dusty, but overall, it could have been a lot worse.  Once we got him to his new apartment, we pretty much had to squeeze everything in since it was so much smaller than his old one.  When we were done moving, we headed back to the office, where we regrouped, and then Jeni, Doug, and I went out to lunch.  We went to a fancy burger place, and it was really good.  We also had some great lunch conversations.  After lunch, we went back to the office, and I sorted through a bunch of books.  I ended up finding a bachelor's degree from WSU in 1969.  When I had sorted out the bad books from the good books, I took them to Goodwill to donate them.  After I dropped off the books, I went and did some shopping in Goodwill, looking for a little file box.  I got lucky and found the perfect one.  When I got back to the office, I joined the maintenance team and worked the rest of the day updating the resident directory.  It took me forever to get started because my email wouldn't work, and then I didn't have permission to access the document.  Once I got started, I realized just how boring a job this was going to be.  I made it through about 5 of the properties, and most of those were small properties.  I stayed about 30 minutes later than usual, working on it, because no one ever told me to leave.  When I got home, I got to work on making supper, which tonight was tater tot casserole.  It turned out really good and everyone liked it.  After supper, I played some video games on the Xbox because I finally got that working.
