Day 72 November 3
Today, when I got to the office, I saw that someone had thrown a bike into the bushes in front of the office. Then I started by doing some random jobs around the office. Then we headed to Sprouts for our pickup, which thankfully was much better than last week. We listened to the Jubil Show as usual. When we got to the pantry, we found out that someone had crashed a car into the Plaza apartments over the weekend. We got all the food unpacked and then had to sort a bunch of meat that we had bought last week. I also tested out the temp gun to see how accurate it was, and I found out it was very far off. Then I did my cleaning tasks, and we headed back to the office for lunch. After lunch, I was sitting in the office and found out that a bunch of the chairs had loose legs, so I tightened them all up. Then Jenni and I went and did a whole bunch of libraries. I'm not going to list them. When we were done with libraries, I had a little extra time, so I took a look at the van door since it hadn't been opening all the way for a while. I found the issue and then a way to bypass the problem. When I was done with the van, I headed home and decided to see how much of the ride I could do without touching the handlebars. It's more than you would think. When I got home, I played with Naomi for a while and relaxed before Michael made us supper. After supper, we had a while before worship night. For worship night, Christian taught us a way of prayer where we sit and just be with God for a few minutes. We are not necessarily saying a prayer but just putting ourselves in God's presence. After that, we took a personality test to see which ways of worship fit us best. No surprise my top one was caregiver. After that, we had about 25 minutes of meditation, and I chose to read 1st John since it was a story that was recommended for the circumstance. Then it was off to bed.
