Day 75 November 6

Today we started out the day with an eviction at Moreno.  The only thing to take out was a TV, so it was pretty easy.  After the eviction, Tony and I stayed there and did some work orders.  We started by going and pulling a broken plug out of an outlet.  They needed us to do this since the breakers had to be shut off.  After that, we went and looked at a thermostat that wasn't working, and we decided we needed to call Theyer.  Then we went to another apartment and fixed a garbage disposal and a faucet.  Then we went back to the thermostat and we found out that the heat was stuck on.  Once we got that fixed, we were done at Moreno, and Tony took me over to Bentley, where I had to finish picking up trash for the event on Saturday.  This took like 4 hours, and it was really boring, and it made my hands hurt from using a trash grabber a lot.  I just put my earbuds in and knocked it out.  I did get back on the hoverboard to ride around the parking lot after I had finished all the stuff I needed to walk for.  I had a very spectacular fall right by the road when the hoverboard decided it didn't want to participate in the transportation of me anymore.  I fell backwards, and the bucket of trash went flying over my head.  Thankfully, I didn't get hurt at all.  It was nice that a few residents came out and helped me pick up trash for a while.  It was nice to see that people did care about the place they lived, looking nice.  I also had some kids asking me if they could ride the hoverboard while I was cleaning the parking lot.  It was really annoying how much trash I had to pick up inside the dumpster receptacles.  I spent probably an hour and a half just cleaning up trash around dumpsters.  When I was done cleaning up trash, it was time to go back to the office, and I rode with Josh.  On the way back, we saw 2 car accidents on our 5 mile drive.  After work, I ran to the grocery store and bought some gluten-free ingredients for the brownies I was making for supper club.  When I got home, Naomi and I made brownies.  She did a lot of mixing and only dusted the counter with flour and cocoa powder a couple of times.  She also helped with dumping the eggs in.  She liked taking turns mixing and would always let me know when it was her turn to mix.  After I was done making the brownies, I started on supper with Christian, and we decided to make our mac and cheese with brats again.  We like this meal because all the ingredients besides the milk and butter come from the pantry.  After supper, Christian and Leigha had a support committee meeting, so I did the dishes and then relaxed for the evening.
