Day 94 November 25

Today I was with maintenance and resources.  We started with a couple of evictions at VSR.  After the evictions, I went with Posh over to the Ridge to install a dog station.  We first had to stop at Home Depot and grab some quick crete.  When we got there, we found out that the dog station had a stand on it, so we had to modify our bucket so it would fit.  Then we realized the dog station was missing pieces, so we had to go back to Home Depot and get some pieces to modify it.  We also grabbed a shovel for digging our hole.  When we got back to the Ridge, we got it put together, and then I dug the whole while Posh worked on the cement.  We started mixing the cement, but then realized we had to seal the bucket back up where we modified it.  By this point, it was time for lunch, and then after lunch, Doug came to pick me up for the mobile market.  The mobile market was very cold, and we even had some flurries of snow.  They were mostly set up by the time we got there, so I just stood around and offered people help, and then helped clean up.  After we were done, we headed back to the office, where I did some clean-up from the Thanksgiving baskets yesterday.  When I was done with that, I headed home.  When I got home, I relaxed for a while before having supper that Michael had prepared for us.  After supper, Christians brother and his wife showed up to hang out over Thanksgiving.  Then we had a learning component, and we learned about water pollution in Bangladesh.  We learned that the water there naturally ends up with arsenic in the water, which is what is in rat poison.  We learned that there is a good solution to this: just install water filters. But it is an issue because it was only recently discovered, and it's hard to get people to do the work of installing the filters.  After the learning component, I relaxed for a while before going to bed.
